In the Indian film industry, the engagement of Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor was a secret. That could not be revealed for many years. But the film stars Suneel Darshan has revealed this secret which took place in the year 2000.
Many relationships are formed and broken in Bollywood. The reasons for some of them come to light. While many relationships remain secret for years. Something similar happened with the popular duo of yesteryear Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor.
In the 2000s, there were rumors that the couple would soon get married. However, there was no final news in this regard. Neither Karishma nor Abhishek had confirmed this.
Now after almost twenty two years, this secret has been revealed. Well-known filmmaker Suneel Darshan confirmed the engagement of both and also explained the reason for their separation.
Suneel Darshan produced the film Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya in the year 2002. In which Karisma, Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar played the lead roles.
Now in an interview Suneel Darshan said that Karishma and Abhishek dated each other for five years and the news of their engagement was absolutely true. Because I attended their engagement myself.
The filmmaker said that he used to be on the sets during the shooting of the film aan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya. I used to see both of them what they are doing with themselves. Because both of them used to start fighting over small things on the set and their fights used to become quite big.
He also said that after the engagement. They were just about to get married. But after the release of the super hit movie Yes, I also loved it, the two got separated.
It should be noted that Abhishek Bachchan got married to Aishwarya Rai in the year 2007 and they have a daughter. While Karisma Kapoor was married to a businessman Sanjay Kapoor in the year 2003. Which broke up in the year 2016. Karishma has a daughter and a son.
