Hindu extremists have announced to block the release of Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt in India
India’s powerful extremist Hindu party Sena has announced to stop the release of the Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt in India. The Legend of Maula Jatt was released on 13th of October all over the world including Pakistan.
The film earned two hundred crore rupees worldwide in just one month. Maula Jat became the first film in the history of Pakistan which was released on most screens outside the country. While it also became the highest grossing Punjabi language film.
Apart from India, the film was released in several other countries of the region. However, it was likely that it will be exhibited in the Indian state of Punjab. Because this movie is in Punjabi language. But before the release of The Legend of Maula Jatt in India, the Hindu extremist leader there threatened.
According to NDTV, the leader Ameya Khopkar in his tweet tweeted against the Pakistani film and announced that his party will not allow the Pakistani film to be released in India.
There are plans to release Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s Pakistani film ‘ The Legend of Maula Jatt’ in India. It is most infuriating that an Indian company is leading this plan. Following Raj Saheb’s orders we will not let this film release anywhere in India.

He wrote in his tweet that he has come to know that Indian companies want to release the Pakistani film in India. But his party will not allow this to happen.
He announced that his party will not allow it to be released in any corner of India. On his tweet, people criticized him and wrote that he is not a defendant of Pakistani films but of Fawad Khan. Therefore, the film should be allowed to be released in India.
Ameya Khopkar advised Fawad’s fans in another tweet that those who are fans of the Pakistani actor. They go to Pakistan to watch the movie.
Fawad Khan’s fans, traitors may very well go to Pakistan and watch the film.
